Tator
A 4.5 year old brindle male who loves his toys, he is always carrying something around in his mouth and loves to take walks. He should not live with cats or small dogs, he is a very high prey greyhound who is currently in foster care. Tater needs to go to a greyhound knowledgeable family, or a very dog savvy family. Although Tater is high prey, he is a very loving and affectionate dog with humans and does just fine with other greyhounds. |

Penny is a tan, 5.5 year old, 37 pound German Shepherd mix. This girl is sweet, sweet, sweet! She is cuddly, gentle and affectionate, but a bit timid at first. Due to her timidness, Penny would do best in a gentle home with older children

Zorro
Male, tan and gray chow chow mix
Zorro was found wandering on State Route 60 and turned in to C.A.R.E. the next day. He is a friendly guy who had definitely missed a few meals while he was wandering the countryside. He has put on that lost weight and is now about 55 pounds and is about 2 1/2 years old. He is smart and eager to please. Zorro is a high energy dog that needs an owner who is dedicated to making sure he gets his exercise, for him to reach his potential as a happy, satisfied, fun family member. He is a loyal friend just waiting for a new home to call his own.

I was rescued from a local high kill shelter as a tiny puppy thanks to the wonderful people here at Manatee County Humane Society. I have lived here at the shelter in a cage, where I have been given wonderful care, but I want a home of my very own more then anything in the world. I am house broken, walk well on a leash, and know many commands. Everyone says I am a wonderful dog, who is healthy, loving, full of fun, loyal and most of all easily trainable. |
